I met up with Meghan and Mic at Fletcher’s Boathouse in Washington DC a couple weeks ago to shoot their engagement session. My fiance, Ryan, came along to help as an assistant/reflector-holder/boat-rower (THANKS, RYAN!) Meghan had a wonderfully creative idea for their save-the-date cards which involved a row boat on the river holding inflated numbers. I loved their enthusiasm and dedication to make this work! In order to get the “just right” photo, I had to pump out of my row boat and get my jeans super muddy, but it was totally worth it. After our adventure at Fletcher’s Boathouse, we drove to their home in Kensington, Maryland to photograph in some locations near and dear to their hearts. Meghan and Mic are a couple who clearly enjoy each other’s company. Both of their faces light up when looking at each other and interactions like that make my job easier, more fun, and more meaningful. Their September 2015 wedding is sure to be nothing short of a good time.
black and white is ON POINT, sar.
Sarah!! I love them so much! They are amazing! I think we can just skip the whole wedding thing, and call it a day. Just kidding, but seriously! I was hoping to have one or two photos that we’d like, that document the two of us together, but I love them all. Thanks for being so flexible and helpful, and an awesomely talented photographer! You are THE best 🙂
