This past fall, I had the honor of attending not one, but two days of celebration for Jen and Pete, as they married in an intimate church ceremony with their inner circle, and then continued their celebration the next day with their extended friends and family. It was such a unique affair! Fulfilling the couple’s dream of a chic and small civil ceremony, the close-knit group was able to celebrate Jen and Pete’s love across the whole weekend.
For the larger gathering, the Bride and Groom chose the stunning Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, which was awash in perfect fall hues for their mid-autumn wedding. That foliage was to die for and perfectly complimented the burnt red/orange colors Jen had chosen for her bridal party. Jen and Pete’s intent was for the vibe of the day to be a “light-hearted, fun, party atmosphere where people cut loose and can lay back and have an effortlessly good time,” and you can definitely see that in these pictures. When the couple is upfront that their favorite part of weddings is the cocktail hour, you know you’re going to have a good time!
I was so thrilled to be able to catch these special moments for this hilarious and easy-going couple who were so thankful to be with each other and all of their loved ones.
