Fall is such a beautiful time for weddings, and Lauren and Josh’s was no exception, with their ceremony and reception being held in the glass pavilion of the Michener Art Museum. It was such a fun aesthetic because it nailed the couple’s intentional vibe of “modern, mixed in with a little boho, plus a nice touch of black-tie swank”. The neutrals and terracottas really popped in the minimalist backdrop of white museum walls, and the magical floor-to-ceiling windows ended up reflecting the rampant joy inside once the sun went down.
The couple’s venue and its surroundings really gave us a mix of hard and soft features, which was so beautiful butted up against their intimate photos. I had so much fun capturing their love.
Josh and Lauren had been together for 12 years, pre-nuptials, and she noted that “every person in the room had been along for the awesome ride” so her vision of “so much love, nonstop dancing, and just an overall incredible night for everyone” was truly not even a challenge.
Thanks Josh and Lauren for letting me be a part of your special day!
