Alyssa + Todd | Lancaster, PA In-Home Photographer

Alyssa and Todd (along with a few more awesome team members) renovate homes in downtown Lancaster, PA under the business name In || Dust Homes.  In Alyssa’s words, “the name holds most significance with a verse in Genesis (Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being). God beautifully formed us from the dirt of the Earth. This is our way of glorifying Him- by breathing life back into His creation.” 
A couple months back, Alyssa approached me with the idea of doing a photoshoot in one of their unfinished homes and I quickly thought, “YAS, LET’S DO THIS.”  With snow falling outside, we went to the top floor of one of their properties on North Mary Street, blew up an air mattress, poured some coffee, and had a grand ol’ time. As much as I love being out in nature for the majority of my work, this shoot was a wonderfully refreshing change of pace. It was back to the basics: an empty room, coffee, and a cute and totally-in-love couple. More of this, please!
