Get ready because these two are absolutely adorable.
But I already knew that after capturing their engagement session where we positively soaked up the love as we walked around Baltimore. You can see it on my instagram here.
I knew their wedding was going to be especially beautiful, and as I think you can see below, I was not wrong.
When their wedding was still a far away and exciting concept, the couple imagined a room swimming in warm tones, Shannon told me to think copper, rust, gold, mocha, etc., and she wanted that to shine through in their wedding photos.
If you know me, I’m a big fan of those vintage tones, so I was already on board.
And then they choose one of the great venues, the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, which, in my humble opinion, has some of the best atmosphere.
Shannon relayed that it was one of the things they loved so much about the Dye House, that the bistro lights and rustic setting complemented their warm aesthetic so well. She was chasing a romantic and emotional vibe with a dash of sexy and I knew just what she meant.
They couple was also super excited for their first look, which was going to happen right as Shannon was walking down that aisle to her future husband. The couple opted not to do pre-wedding first looks and to instead see each other for the first time across the aisle. Love that wow factor.
The wedding itself was an absolute showstopper and it was so sweet to watch these two come together at that altar. They exchanged their heartfelt vows, stopped to take some pictures with their dogs, and were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they had their first dance.
To top off the night with an extra bit of pizazz, the couple decided to have Chic-Fil-A catered as people exited the reception. Nuggs and fries for the road never made anyone unhappy.
Shannon and Ryan got their industrial, rustic, unique, non traditional, romantic wedding x 1000 and I was so honored to be there to document it!
