I don’t always get to hang out on the rooftops of Philadelphia, but when I do, I try to make it count!
Lindsay and Dan were such superstars as we walked around Downtown Philly, blocking traffic and otherwise having a fab time. The bride had told me that they weren’t super comfortable in front of the camera before we started, but judging by these photos, you’d never know that. These shots were so fun to capture and they were naturals.
Lindsay and Dan are getting married at Excelsior next year, and they’re going for a very simple, minimal, timeless celebration, which totally suits them.
Excelsior is a great venue for that because it can be as dressed up or as minimalist industrial as you like. I had one bride put a disco ball up and another who went for pampas grass and full boho.
The couple wants a streamlined color palette of green, white , and black, with some simple white roses, baby’s breath, greenery for floral accents. She even told me her guests will have a requested color palette to stick to in terms of outfits so their photos all have the same tone. Can’t wait to see it!
Lindsay and Dan are looking most forward to the party! She shared “I’m looking forward to throwing a party that people will (hopefully) talk about forever!!! Dan and I love to party and our friends are a blast. I cannot WAIT to see all of our worlds collide in one setting!”
While they’re counting down to their wedding, the two like to spend time restaurant and bar hopping all over the city! Brunch, lunch, dinner, this adventurous couple will try it all, especially if they’re unique and curated.
Looking forward to the big day and I can’t wait to play with their muted color palette!
