Heather + Josiah Engagement

I met up with Heather and Josiah in downtown Harrisburg, PA earlier this week to shoot their engagement photos.  It was a beautiful, sunny day and I was especially excited to get some photographs along Front Street by the Susquehanna River.  Heather and Josiah, with whom I went to college, were very at ease with each other in front of the camera and they were a joy to talk to between shots.  Since we were shooting in the state capital during election season, we had to move a governmental candidate’s road sign for what felt like every shot.  Josiah brought a rose along for Heather as a romantic gesture and to use in some of the photos.  It paired especially nicely with the ring shots! Heather and Josiah are getting married in October in Ithaca, NY.  I cannot wait to photograph their special day during Upstate New York’s autumn! It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL.
