Does a garden engagement ever get old? No, it doesn’t.
Maybe I’m biased because I love being in the great outdoors, close to nature, but there is just something special taking portraits against a sea of bright, popping florals. Love those extra special intimate embraces tucked in shadowed leafy enclaves where the greenery gives you texture and brilliant dappled lighting.
So when I get to go to Longwood Gardens and see what natural wonders await, I’m always a happy gal.
While it’s not the literal great outdoors, Longwood does such an amazing job of bringing the outdoors inside that it’s a brilliant option for nature-filled photos that doesn’t require bug spray!
Stacy and Sean’s gorgeous engagement session was a beautiful example of Longwood’s natural beauty. The curated gardens were the perfect back drop to Stacy’s amazing floral dress and eye-catching red hair.
She and Sean were so natural and fun to photograph as we wandered the paths and admired the landscape. All those summer blooms were magnificent.
Their big day at Tranquility Farms in Purcellville, Virginia is shaping up to be a stunner this Fall.
I’m hearing mid-century modern decor, a bird theme, a barn and clear tent, lots of string lights, lounge areas, cocktail style, a band, and definitely horses and their dog. Also maybe llamas? I cannot wait.
I loved spending the afternoon with these two, and I’ll see them (and hopefully llamas) in October!
