Every so often, I get a bride that speaks to their wedding day far better than I can, so I’m going to let Samantha tell you a little about their love story and big day:
“We are all about small and intimate. Our wedding day to us is about paying respect to the incredible commitment we’re making to each other; not falling victim to cookie-cutter traditions that detract from the meaning of the day. We want a day that is deeply personal that allows us to spend time with both each other and our closest loved ones. There’s something so beautiful and spiritual about making this type of commitment amongst nature, and so I want to embrace that feeling.”
I love the conviction.
Samantha and Cory decided that a micro-wedding at the Inn at Leola Village would be just right for them, and they created an intimate woodland-inspired (with a mix of boho) soiree that was not to be missed. The terms English Garden/Cottagecore/ Fairytale came to mind for her, and she wanted “lots of moody colors thrown in to reflect how deep and epic our love story truly is (at least to us!).”
She goes a little more into that love story below:
“It was a long journey to meet the man I was supposed to marry. Despite the hardships and heartache along the way, I would go through all of it again because it led me to him. Since the day I met my fiancé, Cory, my life has been truly complete and so I cannot wait to make this commitment to him and celebrate the power of true love and why it was absolutely worth the wait.”
Their wedding day was beautiful and the bride and groom definitely got the ‘dining and dancing in a garden under the stars vibe they were going for! I’m a big fan of candlelight for that romantic quality, and her small group of dearest loved ones seemed to revel in the cozy festivities. The love was palpable.
Samantha and Cory, thank you for inviting me to your whimsical fairytale!
