Jocelyn and Geoff wanted their guests to feel relaxed and have fun throughout the day. With fire pits, lawn games, and an open bar, the farm styled wedding venue truly came alive. The decision to have most of the guests stay at the lodge with them for a couple days allowed parents to put their kids to bed upstairs and then return to the festivities. This thoughtful arrangement ensured everyone could enjoy the celebration to the fullest, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.
The wedding was filled with personal touches and heartfelt moments. One of the most memorable was Jocelyn’s first dance with her dad, accompanied by a projected video of them dancing to the same song at her dance recital when she was four. Having been doing wedding photography for over 10 years, I’m almost immune to crying, but this sweet moment definitely brought the tears.
The love and effort that Jocelyn and Geoff put into planning their wedding were evident in every detail, making it a day that their guests will cherish forever. As a wedding photographer, witnessing and capturing their love story was a privilege, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this wonderful couple.
