Jen + Khoi | Fun-Filled Maternity Session

Not every maternity shoot makes me laugh, but boy can I tell you this one did.

I had the pleasure of photographing Jen and Khoi’s engagement and wedding, so naturally I was all in when they called me up for a special maternity shoot. I just love a mom to be. So much excitement, a healthy dash of nerves, and a large helping of the unknown.

For me, it is incredibly easily to flash back to those expectant moments before children and remember that sense of wild sense of anticipation.

So that’s how I went into my session with Jen and Khoi, ready to document those whimsical and almost bittersweet moments towards the end of pregnancy.

And then Khoi started modeling and it was all over for us. I didn’t include as many photos here as I surely wanted to, but oh man was it good.

Jen was such a good sport, sharing the spotlight with her equally adorable husband. I definitely recommend it to all fathers-to-be. Come let your hair down!

But really, we did get in those sweet moments and a great testament to their love, current and future. Thanks so much for letting me hang around for one more milestone! Had a blast and can’t wait until the next one ;).
