Eva + Jacob | Kilgore Falls Engagement

Come one, come all to this engagement shoot for my little edgy friends Eva and Jacob at Kilgore Falls. I was viiiiibing with Eva’s look all day with her punky blond and super cool black dress. I mean, she hiked in that bad boy… in sandals. Reminds me of life pre-kids. *wistful daydream* Ok, I’m back.

I’m sure my edgy vibing had a lot to do with the landscape as well. On this particular day, the falls had this really austere quality that gave the photos a gravity that I was loving. You know, the ‘I came, I saw, I conquered’, in whatever footwear I chose’ tone. Are we masters of the universe? Maybe.

Eva and Jacob were so fun to capture as they ricocheted around the rocks. That youthful energy only seemed to get more bountiful as they chased each other up and down the hills and gullies. When Eva told me that they love to hike as one of their main past times, I wasn’t surprised in the least. Good thing I’m somewhat of an adventurer myself!

These two are getting married this autumn at Parque Ridley Creek, and that definitely suits this nature-loving duo. I can’t wait to see what their wedding day has in store! See you in the fall, kids!
