Your engagement is one of the most fun moments in your life as a couple. You’re in the middle of planning one of the biggest events of your life, trying to make somewhat stressful decisions, all the while feeling a little nervous and a lot excited.
In this in-between stage, I always encourage my couples to have an engagement session before the big day. Not only is it a great time to celebrate your love and commitment to each other, but it’s also a nice break from the daily grind, or wedding grind, to have some fun with each other.
As a bonus, it’s a great way for me to get to know them and it creates a lasting memory of this special milestone.
I had the pleasure of photographing Erin and Jordan’s engagement session at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, and let me tell you, it was as cute as cute can be.
Longwood Gardens is the perfect location for a romantic engagement session. With its sprawling gardens, fountains, and stunning architecture, there are endless opportunities for beautiful photos.
Erin and Jordan looked absolutely stunning in their classic attire. Erin wore a beautiful black dress, while Jordan looked dapper in his sharp dark suit. The combination of their outfits and the picturesque backdrop of Longwood made for the perfect romantic setting.
Throughout the session, Erin and Jordan’s love for each other was evident. It was adorable to see how much they cherished this moment in their lives.
My favorite moments from engagement sessions are when my couples take dance breaks and I can catch them feeling twirly. Erin and Jordan gave it a couple tries, and it always devolved into the sweetest laughter.
As the sun began to set, the warm light created the perfect ambiance. It was a truly magical moment that we got to document with full authenticity.
I always strive to create a unique and personalized experience for my clients. Erin and Jordan’s vision for their wedding is classic and romantic with fun accents, and their engagement session perfectly captured that essence. I hope these photos will serve as a beautiful reminder of their engagement and the love they have for each other.
These two will be eloping at Promise Ridge in September and I can’t wait to go back up the mountain to celebrate in the treetops.
Erin and Jordan are excited to have their micro wedding with the people they truly love and appreciate and can’t wait to sit and make fabulous memories with them.
See you soon, lovebirds!
