If you catch a couple of pointed toes in some of these photos, you have a good eye!
Both my bride and groom were professional ballet dancers! Such dedication and focus, it’s amazing.
No surprise that it was ballet that brought Emily and Ruben to one another! They met in 2016 while they were working in the city together. That seems very much like the next hit romantic comedy to me.
I think Emily might be on the same page because when I asked her what part of her wedding she’s looking forward to the most, this was her answer: “Having all of our closest friend from all different times and ares of our lives all in one room! I picture like when they do a crossover of two of your favorite children’s shows!” I love that.
Her plans for her big day include some rustic elements, but is overall bohemian with a touch of elegance. She’s picturing a neutral pallet with lots of rusty orange and dusty rose. Sounds perfect for the fall.
Their wedding will take place at Hotel Du Village and it sounds like it’s going to be an amazing dance party. Emily relayed that a good portion of their guests will also be professional dancers so I can’t even imagine what the dance floor is going to be like.
I think it’ll be a memorable night, and if I get to see a pirouette, I am here for it! Can’t wait!
