Step up to check this engagement session out because these two have styyyyyle.
Brandon and Alecea just celebrated their wedding day this June, but we had the opportunity to collaborate on their themed engagement session not too long before the big day and it was an absolute ball!
The couple had a very clear vision that they wanted to incorporate a vintage sports-car in their engagement photos, and running with that theme was a ton of fun. Check out that classic black suit and Alecea’s sweet retro dress and hair-do. These two totally nailed it and made me want split a milkshake with someone at the drive-in.
Nothing like a little red convertible to turn us all into dreamers.
I had Alecea channel Mrs. Maisel in some of these photos, and we had so much fun recreating the look and feel of a different era while still being true to their thoroughly modern love.
After we parked that baby back in it’s garage, the lovebirds and I set off to the King George II Inn to cozy up to the bar for some Prosecco, grab a pizza, and then wander the hallways of this wildly historic hotel. This was vintage on a whole other playing field. I’m talking 1681-old.
We played in the dark corners and crowded foyers, and then made our way out to the street to just sit down and eat some pizza. Nothing better than that.
I had such a ball hanging out with these two, and even more fun at their wedding- but more on that later! For now, enjoy this vintage engagement photo session that is a whole vibe.
