Michelle and Drew were so super fun and laid back to capture during their Valley Forge engagement session, that I was looking forward to seeing how their exuberance translated on their wedding at Pomme Radnor last fall.
The answer to that question was a wedding day full of radiant joy. I don’t think I saw one stressed face in that whole party.
Because it was a whole party. Everyone from the smallest ring bearer to the grandmother of the bride was living their best lives with Michelle and Drew on that gorgeous day in October.
To begin, Pomme was in excellent form that day. Autumn color was creeping in, but so much of the grounds were still summer-vibrant, creating a really great mix of colors throughout.
The landscape was actually perfect for the couples’ plan to play up the woodsy chic nature of the venue. Michelle was focused on simple and elegant greenery and white florals, and just the hint of fall foliage was a fun contrast against the brilliant white of her dress.
And let us take a moment to honor the glory of Michelle’s dress, which she was so absolutely thrilled to wear, walking down that aisle.
Her Pronovias wedding gown was such an eye catcher with its form-hugging curves and sheer sparkly cutouts that ran the length of the dress. She was a knockout walking across the bridge to meet her groom.
As I expected, there were many many laughs before, during, and after the ceremony, and the lovebirds sealed the deal as swans floated across the nearby pond. Seriously. I can’t even make this stuff up. Pomme has swans.
After bride and groom became man and wife, with small children raucously chasing each other around the lawns, and family members catching up over signature cocktails, the couple gathered their people under glowing cafe lights and hanging woodsy greenery, and danced to their new chapter together.
I’l leave it at: it was a pretty good night.
Michelle and Drew, it has been such a fun ride. Cheers to the next party!
