When Jess and Chris got in touch with me, they didn’t have much else figured out about their wedding besides the venue. But when it comes to a place like Pomme, sometimes you don’t need much more than that.
Pomme is truly one of those nature lovers venues that has so much greenery that it’s easy to forget you’re right on top of a massive city like Philadelphia. Its calm pathways and greenery-laced grottos truly transport you outside of an urban setting.
That ended up being perfect for the rustic, cozy feel that Jess and Chris eventually landed on for their aesthetic. When I asked them what they typically get up to on their days off, the answer was “we would probably be outdoors somewhere in the morning and brewery hoping in the afternoon”, so this woodsy nature-filled venue was just right.
The intimate, simple, and romantic wedding they wanted was accented by greenery, candles and white and ivory flowers, with a long head table and farmhouse tables in front of the fireplace in the reception room, to serve as a focal point in the space.
Chris’s dark green suit, his groomsmen in gray, and the bridesmaids wearing English Rose all complemented the natural surroundings beautifully.
The day of their wedding was just as sweet and intimate as they imagined, even though they had a big crowd from all parts of the globe. Their gorgeous pup Charlie even made it into plenty of pictures!
Though there was plenty of dancing and celebrating in every available space, and the bride and groom were still able to sneak in some sweet little moments for themselves.
Jess and Chris, thanks for letting me tag along to your sweet wedding!
