Saturday, June 27th was the day that central Pennsylvania (and lots of the Northeast, actually) was hit by rain… all stinkin’ day. I received a text from Nicole a few days before her wedding day that said something like, “The weather doesn’t look great, so let’s just embrace it!” I absolutely loved that. She and her bridesmaids went out and purchased rain boots and fun umbrellas. Nicole and Tyler’s wedding was at Messiah College (where I went to school!) so I was already well aware of some great indoor areas in which to shoot. Their reception was held at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill in Carlisle, PA which is such an aesthetically-pleasing venue. Nicole and Tyler are all about brick so this venue was perfect for them. Oh, and I should mention the dancing at this wedding was on point. Messiah College alumni really know how to dance.
Thanks to Jenna of Jenna Brianne Photography for second-shooting… and being a wonderful umbrella holder.

Sarah this is awesome! I love all of the couples’ details and how with awesome indoor lighting you were able to make it seem like it was a sunny gorgeous day!! (And I think their genuine happiness made it appear that way too :).
