As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing love stories in some of the most stunning and unique venues. Each location offers its own special charm, enhancing the beauty and romance of the weddings I photograph. From historic estates with timeless elegance to barns with a cozy, intimate atmosphere, every venue brings a distinct backdrop that enriches the visual storytelling of each couple’s special day. I am excited to introduce some of my favorite venue spaces where I have had the honor of working, and share why they hold a special place in my heart and lens. You’ll also see some links to blog posts of just a few weddings I’ve photographed at each venue.
Combine historic charm and modern elegance and you have Excelsior. Located in a renovated 19th century building in downtown Lancaster, Excelsior is the perfect backdrop for an industrial, chic wedding. It features stunning architectural details, versatile spaces, and a modern urban atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor ceremony spots are stunning so you’re good to go with both Plan A and B. As a resident of downtown Lancaster myself, I can attest to the multitude of activities + shops + restaurants + bars for your guests to visit while they’re in town for your wedding.
Fun fact! I got married at The Farm at Eagles Ridge in 2015! But that’s not the only reason this venue is a favorite of mine. Nestled on 150-acres in Lancaster county, it features a restored barn, a tranquil pond, and lush landscapes. The house on site is the perfect spot for you, your partner, and your wedding parties to hang out and get ready on the morning of the wedding day. The Farm at Eagles Ridge provides a coordinator for each couple and I can attest that they’re all fabulous to work with.
The beautifully restored 1800s barn features exposed beams, stone walls, and modern amenities. Similar to The Farm at Eagles Ridge, The Barn at Silverstone has a barn that in no way feels “barn-y.” The coordinators on site are incredible to work with and the food is always A++++.
