Sam + Chip | Intentional New Jersey Wedding
Sam and Chip’s wedding day was something really special, not only because of how beautiful it was, but because Sam works in the wedding industry herself. Being chosen to capture her day was such an honor—she knows weddings inside and out, so it meant a lot that she trusted me with hers.
One of the sweetest moments from the day was when Sam and Chip’s dog, Grizzly, made her way down the aisle. They even named one of their signature cocktails after her, which I thought was a fun personal touch. Speaking of cocktails, Sam and Chip went all out for their cocktail hour. They had a spread that covered everything—sushi, a raw bar, BBQ, and of course, Grizzly’s signature drink. The vibe was relaxed but classy, with plenty of great food and drink for guests to enjoy before the party really kicked off.
Sam had an eye for the little details, and you could tell she was excited about how everything came together. She was especially thrilled about the florals. The Hidden Daisy absolutely knocked it out of the park. Her bouquet was stunning, and the fireplace arrangements added a warm, romantic touch to the space. She even had flowers on her reception shoes, which were adorned with blooms that matched her bouquet. It was one of those little details that just made everything feel more cohesive and thoughtful.
With about 150 guests, the reception was a fun, lively celebration. Guests enjoyed a cigar bar and the signature drinks, and the whole evening felt like a true celebration of Sam and Chip’s love for each other, surrounded by all the people who mean the most to them.
From Grizzly’s adorable role in the ceremony to the incredible food and florals, every part of the day was a reflection of who they are as a couple. It was an honor to capture these moments for them, and I’m so excited for them as they start this new chapter together.
