Hi. Me again. Back at one of my favorite places: Promise Ridge
Kelsey and Tom got married this past Fall and I got to hang out with this crew of delightful people to celebrate their elopement.
In a twist on this woodsy mountain hideaway, the couple opted for some tropical hints in their decor and florals. Since they were looking forward to their honeymoon in Maui, Kelsey and Tom decided to get started celebrating their trip a little early and incorporate some Hawaiian and tropical inspiration into their day.
If you ask me, that’s a couple with some good priorities.
Going with lush greenery and monstera leaves (the bride’s fave), we were thinking about the islands despite being up in the forest. Promise Ridge is great that way, though. It can really be anything you want it to be.
Kelsey and Tom’s were able to achieve those tropical tones all while maintaining the “modern, effortless, bright, ethereal, intimate, romantic, enchanting” aesthetic that they wanted. With such a stunning backdrop, the couple’s desire for the guests’ experience to feel lush, soft, and glowing, overflowing with florals in pinks, creams and greens, was no hardship.
The carefully curated accents gave this cute couple the peaceful, serene, but non-traditional ceremony that they were hoping for and made for some dreamy photos.
I also don’t always get to capture sit down dinners at Promise Ridge, but look at how cute that set-up was! A little dining alfresco on the mountain. Such a sweet and intimate dinner party to follow on the heels of those romantic i-dos.
Best wishes to the couple and thanks for the invite! I hope Maui was amazing!
