Emily + Zach | Small Town Engagement Session

Get ready for some serious #CoupleGoals, because Emily and Zach’s engagement session was everything. These two lovebirds wanted their engagement photos to be an authentic reflection of their journey together, and boy did they deliver.

Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania, Lewisburg is a small town that packs a big punch when it comes to charm. It’s got total ‘Cheers’ vibes, a place where everyone knows your name. It’s the kind of close-knit community that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger, and it was the perfect backdrop for Emily and Zach’s story. It’s a love story that is as much about their shared hobbies and adventures as it is about their profound connection.

Speaking of hobbies, these two are always on the go. Whether it’s escaping into the wilderness for a camping trip, hitting the trail for a long hike, or exploring new wineries and breweries, Emily and Zach live for the thrill of discovery. Their story is a beautiful journey, and every stop along the way is a new chapter in their grand adventure.

But don’t let their adventurous spirit fool you. For Emily and Zach, the most important thing is family, friends, and (of course) a good ol’ dance-off (which is what they are <i>so<i> looking forward to at their wedding).

They also cherish their walking tradition around the town, a ritual that started during the pandemic but has now become a way to unwind and connect.

They wanted to capture this special tradition in their engagement photos, reminiscing their favorite spots – the cute esplanade of Market Street, their community park with a stream, Bucknell’s campus with beautiful spots, and the Susquehanna River’s green space.

And let’s not forget about their wedding venue, The Farm at Eagles Ridge in Lancaster. Originally, the dream was a quaint backyard wedding under string lights. But when that wasn’t possible, they found the next best thing. The Farm at Eagles Ridge gave them that intimate, rustic charm they were longing for, and I can already imagine the beautiful photos we’re going to capture there.

I, for one, can’t wait to be a part of Emily and Zach’s special day. Their love story is just too cute and I am absolutely excited to capture every magical moment of their wedding. Stay tuned, because if their engagement session is anything to go by, their wedding is going to be one heck of a ride!
