Eden + Christopher | Candid Los Angeles Engagement

Could this little family be any cuter? I think not.

So cute, in fact, that I flew all the way out to Los Angeles to capture this candid and intimate engagement session in their family home.

Not that I need an excuse to travel, but when the opportunity presented itself, I was happy to head out to the City of Angels to meet Eden, Christopher, and their adorable son.

Eden is actually a photographer herself, so she knew exactly what she wanted for her engagement session and wedding, and it was fun to chat about our different experiences, even though she worked in a bit of a different industry than I do.

Pre-gorgeous baby, Eden was a photographer that toured with bands, and that’s how this love story began! A Los Angeles native, Christopher used to be in a punk band and their paths happened to cross. If there’s not a rom-com with that storyline yet, there should be.

Things look a little different now with a one-year-old, but they still both still light up when they talk about music and being involved in the local scene.

Eden is actually from Maryland originally and dreamt of getting married on the Chesapeake Bay when she was growing up, so they made their own cross-country trip back to my neck of the woods to get married recently at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.

One childhood dream fulfilled.

I had an amazing time photographing them in their home in LA, as well as hiking the foothills around Griffith Observatory. You can’t tell in the photos, but the Hollywood sign is on the other side of those mountains!

I loved being a part of this bi-coastal wedding celebration, and loved getting to know their tight-knit family.

If anyone else is loving for a destination engagement or wedding…have camera, will travel!
