Caroline + Ryan | Farm at Eagles Ridge Wedding
Caroline and Ryan make me happy. Their love story is like a perfectly aged bottle of wine, and with a relationship that’s been brewing for over 8 years, they decided to pop the cork with a wedding that was nothing short of a fun-filled extravaganza.
From their vibrant engagement session in downtown Philadelphia, which you can see here, where joy was literally bouncing off the brickwork, to the casual elegance of their wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge, this couple knows how to celebrate in the most authentic way.
The Farm at Eagles Ridge, nestled in the heart of Lancaster, PA, is not your traditional barn venue. It’s like the dapper cousin of barns, sporting a refined charm that blends rustic with sophistication and always does my couples justice.
Rustic Elegance was indeed what the couple was hoping to achieve with their wedding decor, and Caroline and Ryan absolutely nailed it. Fall colors were woven seamlessly into the decor, florals, and food, creating such a rich and vibrant tapestry that guests were in awe as they walked around.
Navy-suited gentlemen with striking red ties and bridesmaids adorned in terracotta and champagne made the most picturesque palette for bridal photos.
The vibe of the day was just what I was expecting: bubbling anticipation while still being graciously relaxed. A wedding is a monumental event, yet Caroline and Ryan managed to pay due respect to the occasion without losing their gorgeous sense of humor about it all.
It was a celebration of their journey, a testament to their relationship, and a reflection of their personalities. And boy, did they bring the fun. Ryan joked that he was particularly excited about the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, (and I mean, who wouldn’t be?), but the real highlight was the opportunity to gather people from various chapters of their lives together under one roof.
The fact that Caroline and Ryan have lived in 9 states over the last decade and made friends from all around the world was palpable in the diverse, vibrant energy of the crowd.
The ceremony was so heartfelt and gorgeous at the banks of the river that runs through the Farm. It’s seriously one of my favorite spots in Lancaster.
And the reception was a dance fest like no other! Emotions ran high, feet moved fast, and the laughter was infectious. The dance floor was a melting pot of love, laughter, and some seriously impressive dance moves.
At the end of the day, these two were such perfect sweethearts, basking in the love of close and extended family, excited to move into the next chapter together.
A big shout out to this amazing couple for inviting me to be a part of their special day. It’s not every day you get to witness a love story as fun as theirs. So here’s to Caroline and Ryan, the couple who gave ‘tying the knot’ a whole new meaning. Thanks for keeping it real, keeping it fun, and above all, keeping it ‘you’.
