The SBP Approach + Vision

Our work can be best described as authentic, heartfelt, and fun.  It’s a mix of fine-art and photojournalism. We’re fascinated by the idea of capturing a still image of an instant, a visual memory that can be experienced. We photograph fleeting moments that tell as story, the happy tear rolling down your cheek to the big belly laughs you share with loved ones. Our goal is to document real, authentic moments as opposed to stiff, contrived poses.

To be frank, we’re not your traditional wedding photographers. Besides those family photos, you won’t do a whole lot of cheesin’ at the camera. There is beauty in the imperfect and the “in-between.” We believe that’s where the best photo is. Photographs take us back to a moment otherwise gone. Let’s make sure that captured moment is reflective of our true selves.

Being in relationship with our couples is a big deal. As a matter of fact, it’s necessary for us to create something awesome together. We’ll be with you for all those special moments, often times holding your nervous hand, dancing with you on the dance floor, and being a friendly third-wheel.

Your photographer will be with you every step of the way during one of the most significant days of your life. Besides your lifelong commitment to each other, your wedding photos are the only tangible thing you take with you after the wedding.
