Allison + Drew | Dreamy Farm at Eagles Ridge Wedding
After one urban and fun engagement session, I was ready to meet Allison and Drew at the Farm at Eagles Ridge to document their wedding day!
When couples get married down by the meandering Conestoga River with the dappled light filtering through the gorgeous trees, I know I’m going to get some dreamy wedding photos.
There’s something soft about the quality of light around Eagles Ridge thanks to all the mature foliage. I could definitely take pictures of it all day.
But I also had the privilege of capturing the sweet moments between the Ebling and Fisher families as they walked their bride and groom through this momentous day.
There were so many adorable first looks! Bridesmaids, parents, the groom himself, I kept getting to experience that first blush of excitement followed by misty eyes as Allison revealed herself to so many of the important people in her life.
A teary groom will always get me. Every. Time.
And the whole event was just romantic and beautiful. The couple ended up with super earthy tones in terracotta and burgundy, with lots of bohemian touches in the wedding florals. It was especially classy with the filament lights over the couple’s sweetheart table.
You know I’m always here for the vintage aesthetic.
My favorite part of the event, and a trend I hope takes hold during the upcoming wedding seasons? Live painting of the bride and groom!
Allison and Drew had an artist in residence for the evening who worked on special portrait of them for their wedding day, which was revealed towards the end of the evening. It was so special!
10/10 could not recommend bespoke wedding art enough.
The day was gorgeous, the couple was even sweeter, and I loved getting to capture the magic of another fall wedding on the Farm.
