Valley Forge remains one of my favorite locations to shoot for, well, basically anything. Engagement, elopement, need to capture your cat’s wedding? I’ll be there. The quality of the light and the lushness of the fields and forests really do my couples justice.
Alex and Ethan, here, were such sweethearts and amazing subjects for their engagement session in this beautiful location. Alex proposed in Napa Valley so I thought it was so awesome that they shared a bottle of wine from their Napa trip during the shoot. I loved being able to capture the authentic connection between them up against this wild and gorgeous landscape. All the great couples are a little spicy and a little sweet, and these two were serving it. Loved it.
They are getting married at the Farm at Eagles Ridge, and I can’t wait to see what their vision is for that super fun venue. I’ve talked about their open-air lounge barn before, but it’s * chef’s kiss *. Magic.
The bride is going for rustic elegance, understated neutrals, and natural tones, with all the greenery the venue has to offer. I think she’s going to get the timeless and classic vibe she’s after.
Just as icing on the cake, we got to have a little mini session with their adorable doggo, and the hunter-green bowtie collar really sealed the deal for me. I’m going to make all my animal guests wear their best formal attire from now on. It’s decided.
Looking forward to next summer, guys! Bring the dog and the bowtie!
