These two tried and true New Yorkers knew in their hearts there was no other place they wanted to capture their engagement photos than NYC, especially because their wedding is going to be down at the gorgeous Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in Baltimore.
As residents of Harlem, they had their eyes on Central Park North, and I was all too happy to meet them in the Big Apple to explore.
I’ve been getting out to New York more and more often, and I got to say that I’m loving what I get to capture out there.
Central Park certainly didn’t disappoint!
Fun fact from these two locals: the North portion of the park is much less trafficked by tourists. If you find yourself looking for a less congested spot to see the grand sights, try it out!
I certainly wasn’t expecting some of the gorgeous areas that we ran into with the curated grounds and gardens. It was easy to forget that we were in the one of the busiest cities in the world!
But, can we stop and take a moment for Erin’s show-stopping dress? That deep red practically popped as we were taking these shots among the lush greenery.
I always vote for you taking engagement photos in whatever outfit you feel the most comfortable and confident in, whether that’s jeans and a sweater or a ball gown. However, I’m also a big fan of statement outfits when you know just the vibe you’re looking for. This one made for some lovely shots.
My bride and groom will have their moody, romantic autumn wedding this fall and I am so looking forward to it!
