Erica + Matthew | Lush Outdoor Valley Forge Engagement

While weddings are my bread and butter, coming in hot from behind are elopements and micro-weddings!

I have had SO many couples book or inquire about these celebrations in the last 12 months.

I’m sure you can chalk it up to a million practical reasons why this might be the case, but I’m honestly loving doing more of these small and intimate gatherings. There are some special moments that only these little groups can provide and it’s magical for me to be able to capture.

Erica and Matthew had this beautiful engagement session at Valley Forge National Park in anticipation of their own elopement just this past week at one of my all time favorite spaces: Promise Ridge.

I have gone on about the glories of Promise Ridge across my various feeds, but the beauty cannot be overstated. Top notch celebration space. Consider it!

It was such an amazing space to showcase the casual elegance of their bond.

Erica and Matthew were so great together as we hiked around these gorgeous meadows.

Their elopement is was such a beautiful and heartfelt occasion nestled high up there in the woods with their little group of people. Can’t wait to show you more of that!
