We in a New York state of mind over here, people!
For Jamie and Justin’s engagement shoot, we were able to bring our little shoot to Gramercy Park in NYC and we were living our best city lives!
New York is one of those locations that becomes a whole other character in any photos I take. Totally iconic. It’s just something about the forced perspective of all of these massive skyscrapers and the small figures on the street, each going about their own momentous lives. Anyway, I love it!
Jamie and Justin are outdoorsy active people, so it made sense to get them out and about walking around their city. We ended up on the rooftop of their apartment to shoot some of the last light and it was actually also where Justin proposed! What a stunning spot to do that!
These two dolls are getting married at the Washington Mill Dye House next summer, and that’s always one of my favorite locations. Jamie’s still deciding on what her wedding is going to look like, but she fell in love with the unique character of the Dye House, just like I do every time I shoot there. Whether she opts for the simple soft tones and pretty flowers she’s thinking of, or not, it’s sure to be a gorgeous affair because that venue is just gorg.
Jamie and Justin are looking forward to dancing the night away and making it a day to remember for everyone, and I’m so excited to be joining you. See you next summer!
