Pratima + Daniel | Hingework Elopement – Lancaster, PA

This is a blog post that I’m super-dooper excited to share because it’s an elopement I photographed and helped plan 🙂 Daniel (though we all call him Omondi) is one of Ryan’s BFFs. They were roommates before Ryan and I got married, and we all went to college together. When Omondi and his fiancé, Pratima, were visiting last summer, we sat in our backyard eating Thai food and brainstormed their wedding. They would have weddings in both India and Kenya (starting this week, heyyooo!) but wanted to have a small US wedding to celebrate their union with their friends. I told them about Hingework, an awesome studio/event space in downtown Lancaster, and how it would be purrrrfect for their small ceremony (with swoon worthy natural light). Ryan enlisted his dad to marry them, I found a florist (Thistle Do Flower Co), and other friends and family donated their time and skill to provide decor, food, musical talents, and a good time.

We leave this coming Friday to attend their wedding in Nairobi, Kenya! I can’t wait to celebrate them all over again… and see Ryan as a cute Best Man <3
