Becca and Chris, they’re the kind of couple that just makes you smile. Their love story is like a sunny day – simple, warm, and full of joy. After eight years of building their story, they decided to dive into the wedding thing, and let me tell you, it was all about warmth and that undeniable charm.
So, get this – their happy place is their family beach house in Sea Isle City, NJ. Needless to say, it wasn’t a surprise that they picked a venue right by the water, wanting to recreate that vibe for the day.
Fun fact: I also shot Becca’s sister’s wedding. How cool is it that another bride from this awesome family picked me for their big day? It’s always an honor when families return to me to capture even more of their memories – it’s honestly the best compliment you can give me!
The excitement leading up to the wedding day was off the charts. As soon as I heard that the color scheme of the day was olive green and earthy tones (hello, pampas grass!) – I knew it would be a timeless beaut.
Personally? My favorite parts of the day were their first look, vows, and Chris seeing Becca strut down the aisle. They were the biggest moments of the day for me and just bursting with happiness. It was a love depth test, and trust me, there were buckets of tears involved.
Also, can we just talk about their sea-backed ceremony?! It’s safe to say that they captured the energy of their happy place to a Tee.
As the day rolled on, the dance floor turned into this crazy celebration of love, laughter, and pure bliss. Friends and family brought this infectious energy, all crammed into one room to soak in the happiness of Becca and Chris.
It was an incredible honor to witness, especially knowing that embracing the fun of the day was super important to both of them. Watching their loved ones bring that energy to life for them was the perfect example of undeniable support.
We made sure to sneak outside in the evening during golden hour to catch some portraits on the bay. I mean, you know I’m not about to waste that waterfront opportunity and the location did not disappoint.
Big shoutout to Becca and Chris for letting me crash their special day. Here’s to the couple who turned their wedding into a warm celebration, packed with joy, laughter, and the timeless beauty of their connection. Cheers for keeping it real, keeping it fun, and above all, keeping it uniquely ‘you.’
