As a parent, you know that nothing compares to the feeling of holding your children in your arms. From their little toes to their precious little smile, every inch of them is a miracle. You want to remember all the special details that make your little one unique, and that’s where capturing those moments in a family session comes in.
While I’m a fan of taking everyday photos with your phone, setting up a professional session to document these short chapters in your lives is a special sort of memory to be treasured for years to come. The images remind you of those early days of parenthood, the moments when you fell even more in love with your little ones, and the immeasurable joy they brought your life at those ages.
With each new baby, I get so excited to see my old couples again and again, watching their families grow.
The Voystocks added another sweet girl to their clan, and so we all ventured out to nature to capture some candid family fun.
I love capturing beauty in the everyday moments of our lives. The sight of a peaceful, slumbering newborn baby cradled carefully in her parents’ arms with their softly rising and falling chest and the gentle flutter of little eyelids. It’s up there for me with your first embrace as husband and wife, or the way your parents look at you when they give you away.
And then there’s the unadulterated joy of the toddler or small child, pulling, poking, running in the fields, feeling the wind stir the wild riot of baby hairs across their forehead. That’s a lot like the hilarity of a reception dance floor, or the cheers of a grand exit on the way to the honeymoon. Those little candid moments are the real story.
I loved roaming around with this little family catching up on life and love and everything in between. Such sweet faces attached to little pigtails bouncing around the dock and tiny soulful infant eyes.
This bunch of beauties was so much fun to hang out with and I can’t wait to do it again!
