Erin + Zach | Intimate Maternity Session

Maternity sessions, like weddings, are really in the eye of the beholder.

The beauty is that there are no wrong answers. Some people want to put on gauzy dresses and look angelic, some want to jump into editorial maternity style, and other people, like these two, want to celebrate the beauty of their every day life.

Erin told me she was thinking of their maternity shoot being a sort of day-in-the-life in her own home with her husband, and I’m always up for a cozy lifestyle sesh in the place you know best!

There was the added bonus that these two were a former wedding couple, (you can see their gorgeous farmhouse wedding here), so we knew each other well when I landed on their doorstep to celebrate their bundle of joy.

Impending parenthood looked SO good on these two.

I always think my new mamas look beautiful and glowing with that inner joy, and I love that Erin coupled that vibe with some slouchy boyfriend jeans for the initial portion of the shoot. Such a fun casual moment that looked suited her.

If soon-to-be dad glow is a thing, Zach matched his wife on that front. The whole shoot was so sweet and you could just feel the anticipation shimmering off them.

I can’t wait to see Erin and Zach in action with their little girl, she already has the best parents in these two.
