2015! What a whirlwind of a year. I married my wonderful husband on July 4. I said goodbye to my Lancaster home of 24 years (but I’ll be back to you, Lancaster!) and Ryan and I started our newlywed life together in a Baltimore row home. In addition to a busy personal life, my photography business took a leading role. I became a confident photographer with a more defined style and purpose in my work. I learned what it really means to run a business. (There is a whole lot of paperwork and administrative tasks behind capturing beautiful images!) My passion for documenting weddings was reaffirmed. I believe the covenant of marriage is a big deal. A big, beautiful, hard, wonderful, exhausting, deal. God created this amazing union, and to capture it’s inception is an honor. I am privleged to be with my couples for the moments that mean the most. I recognize the imperative role I hold on a wedding day and strive to artistically capture authentic, significant moments.
To all my wonderful clients: Thank you for allowing me to come alongside you during the most joyous of celebrations.
To my readers: Please enjoy some of my favorite captured moments from 2015 🙂
To 2016: Let’s do it!
